Magnetic Scrubber Extends Water Pump Life
Water wells with iron content often prematurely wear out the water pump. Micron sized particles of hard iron heat the pump impellers, seals, gaskets and other critical parts of the system. Riverbend Campground the largest in its kind in western Canada has a normal amount of iron in their well water and the water pump was burning out every year and required replacement. A Series 5000 Scrubber was installed before the pump and there have been no further pump problems at all.

Magnetic Scrubber Removes Iron & Other Ferrous Contaminants
from Bulk Diesel Fuel Tanks
Using the cleanest fuel possible helps improve fuel economy and prolongs engine life. Many users find it
necessary to filter diesel as it becomes contaminated during processing and transportation phases. In Alberta,
diesel fuel has an average of 300 PPM of ferrous contamination between 50 microns and 1 micron in size. These
hard metal particles (iron & steel) can score fuel injectors and cause injector valves to stick, producing inefficient
combustion.

Diesel Fuel Filtration
“When installing this filter it was placed after the inlet manifold, so filtration would occur during fuel transfer from tank to
tank to balance the vessel and fuel the engines and generators. Since installing this system we have not occurred any algae problems. I also
have the BT900 Magnetic filters installed protecting my engine oil.”

City of Houston Diesel Fuel
“Just 3 days (3,000 gal.) after
a previous cleaning of the Magnetic filter,
a substantial amount of Ferrous Metal was
extracted by the OEI Magnetic Filter. If left
in the fluid these metal particles will
prematurely wear the injector pump and
injectors decreasing the equipments
performance and efficiency.”
