Esso Installs Magnetic Filter Rods In The Factories Pumpjack Gear Boxes
Esso Canada upstream field services wanted to increase the efficiency of their oil field equipment and extend the length of their service and maintenance intervals. FilterMaster 2000 & 3000 Magnetic Filter Rods were tested on 6 pumpjacks. After 37 days the Filter Rod was removed. It was covered by ferrous material a ½” thick. As a result of the test Esso has installed the FilterMaster rods in all of their pumpjack gear boxes at the factory.

TAMA Paperboard - Pulp & Paper Mill Gear Lubrication
Darcy Rasmusson the maintenance manager for Tama Paper Board was looking for new technology to improve the filtration of his gear lube on the paper machine, as the filtration employed did not have the desired results. Darcy was as well looking for ways to reduce maintenance costs in bearing and pump failure. magnetic filters were removing substantial ferrous contamination the original filters failed to remove. Darcy related they will monitor the OEI filtration system and evaluate over the next year and as the oil is cleaner than

Mining Company, Eastern Australia - Komatsu 475 Dozers
The Final Drives were fitted with One Eye magnetic plugs as they did not have spares and they needed the Dozer to keep going until the spares arrived. This is the results after 11,420 hrs.
“Alan stated that the OEM plug would not have been able to do what the One Eye plug did and in fact the One Eye plugs played a major part in getting the final drive to keep operating until the spares arrived.”
