LaFarge Cement and Gravel Quarry - Clemro 500 New Gravel Crusher
When purchasing a new gravel crusher maximizing
the operational longevity of the equipment is very
important. To protect the hydraulic system from
premature failure is a very important aspect with the
operational management. Ferrous metal under 10
microns in size is the most damaging contaminant in a
closed hydraulic system and traditional filtration is
unable to remove

Ford Motor Co. - Hydraulic Press
60 days after the hydraulic fluid
and standard filter were changed. The OEI
magnetic filter extracted a considerable
amount of ferrous metal. So much so that
the trapped particles are protruding thru the
protective screen which is approximately ½”
clear of the magnetic filter.

Frac Source - Coil Tube Service Truck
Rob McQuinn a hydraulics specialist
from Kinecor assisting Hydra Rig installed an OEI
Magnetic Filter rod. The system operated for 2
hours and was removed, significant ferrous metal
was extracted out of the fluid.

Surefire Industries Ltd - Oil & Gas N-2 Pumper
OEI filters Installed on the hydraulic
reservoir on an N-2 Pumper for Trican Well Service
Ltd of Red Deer. After 3 months of operation, the
photo clearly displays a significant amount of ferrous
metal contamination. The unit’s traditional filtration
failed to remove the contamination that would have
caused serious premature wear to the pumps and
seals of the hydraulic system.

Surefire Industries Ltd - Oil & Gas Well Cementing Unit
Sure Fire was tasked to refit a
Schlumberger Cementer with a new hydraulic system.
The senior design engineer Oleg Tsvik experienced
with OEI filters, installed a Magnetic Filter Rod into the
new reservoir. The photos display a significant amount
of ferrous metal contamination the regular filters
missed after 2 hours of operation.

Jagar Building Systems Inc. - Calgary Wood Products
375% drop in ferrous hydraulic contaminates under 10 microns.
"In every location we tested it, there were magnetic particles on the magnet... about 2 months later our semi-annual oil analysis found that the particle count for 5-micron particles had dropped from 2975 to 794 ppm. A dramatic drop."

Kinecor Inc. - Test Bench Cleanliness Standards Challenge Traditional Hydraulic Filtration
"As a hydraulic service company, we are well aware of the damage ferrous contamination between the <1 to 10 micron range does, especially with the very high tolerances on new equipment. Removing it from our own system gives us confidence that this is the best test facility anywhere."

Coal Company - Filter Cart
The oil is filtered before reaching the pump and it is first passed over an OEM’s magnetic
drum to remove the large particles and
second the oil is flooded onto a large paper
roll that should filter to 40 microns. Now the
oil is passed thru the ADD-Vantage 9000 and
this is what was removed after only one week
of work !!!

Ford Motor Co.
30 days after its first
cleaning a substantial amount of ferrous
metal was trapped on the OEI Magnetic
Filter. Left in the fluid these metal
particles would prematurely wear the
components and degrade the fluid.
