Indonesia Corn Feed Mixer

The challenge was to prevent excessive ferrous metal contamination produced during the mill’s corn mixing process from prematurely wearing on the mills equipment components and degrading final product quality.

Cavendish Farms Fry Oil Reservoir

The challenge was to remove ferous contamination and small production components such as wire fryer belting and bearing pieces from the cooking oil to improve final product quality and extend the cooking oil life.

Indonesia Tobacco Blender

The challenge was to replace the tobacco blender’s existing filters to remove wear contamination and loose/broken processing parts, and to improve product quality.

Indonesian Chocolate Product Line

The challenge was to improve the product quality of chocolate used in a cookie production line and reduce product rejection due to ferrous contamination.

Indonesia Bean Processing Product Line

The challenge was to replace existing magnetic filtration that was unable to capture the ferrous contamination and large processing parts that were damaging equipment downline and reducing final product quality.

Bonduelle Fresh Produce Conveyor Line

The challenge was to replace existing magnetic filters to improve the product cleanliness of fresh produce, and ultimately reduce production loss caused by product contamination (ferrous metals and process materials such as nails, knuts and wire).

Indonesian Candy Product Line

The challenge was to reduce the incidences of product being rejected due to ferrous contamination.

Funnel Scrubber Dial Corporation Food Processing

In May of 2005 the Dial Corporations food processing facility in Fort Madison installed the new
OEI magnetic funnel scrubbers on a trial basis in their facility. The units were installed on two
multi product lines (3” & 4”) having many different product densities and viscosities along with
varied particulate sizes.

PT. Kebun Agung Sugar Filtration

A high level of product rejection prior to packaging. PT. Sinarmentari Indoprima, the Indonesia distributor for OEI, recommended installing 2 magnetic filter rods inline of the product flow.

Compressors 

Orogel Ammonia Compressor Lube Oil

The challenge was to improve the cleanliness of the lube oil used on new ammonia compressors in the production facility. The existing filtration was not capturing the wear contamination that was damaging critical compressor components, causing frequent failures.

Orto Verde Ammonia Compressor Lube Oil

The challenge was to improve the operational life and prevent
frequent failures of an ammonia compressor by capturing the wear contamination that was causing filter clogging, premature wear of compressor components, and early oil change-outs.
